Where We Are

The entrance to Howton Grove House is situated on the main A465 Hereford to Abergavenny road and very easy to find, even for weary travellers. It is 8 miles outside Hereford and 12 miles from Abergavenny so is ideally positioned to explore the beautiful Golden Valley and surrounding historic areas.

Travelling from the Hereford direction, take the A465. About 8 miles out is the village of Wormbridge. When you reach the village

drive past the Old Forge Garage on the right, past the school, and past the Church on your left. Slow down and indicate right and

our white entrance gates are next on the right with white stones outside.

Travelling from the Abergavenny direction, again stay on the A465. Pass the signs for Ewyas Harold on the left and Pontrilas on

the right. Carry on past the Sawmills on the left and continue until there is a bend in the road with a 'Road to the Right' sign. Our

white entrance gate, with white stones, is before that road, so slow down and indicate left. We are just past the converted barns.
